From tomorrow at the Lumiere Gallery – an interesting exhibition of Douglas Kirkland's photo work "Behind the Scenes" – it included footage of the first version of "The Great Getsby" and other Hollywood masterpieces from the 1960s on our time. Also, of course, there is almost all the galaxy of Hollywood stars, including little-known photos now, for example, the young Jack Nicholson .
A special project of the exhibition was announced a series of photos about the life and work of the 79-year-old Coco Chanel, created by Douglas Kirkland in Paris in 1962. For three weeks he photographed all the details of her work and leisure, capturing preparations for a fashion show, meeting with friends and walking around Versailles. Photos create an intimate and profound portrait of Chanel. She appears before us funny, coquettish, recalcitrant, serious, friendly, young and energetic.
The ticket price for an adult is 430 rubles, children under 16 are free. 21 and 28 January, you can visit individual tours of the exhibition, and on January 27 go to the lecture of Polina Ukhanova " Hollywood and fashion ".
